•Review: I thought The London Eye Mystery by Siobhan Dowd, was a great read. The book has an excellent plot and includes figurative language, such as personification, hyperboles, and similes. The book and its theme are very creative, the basic story is very entertaining and I think it is a unique mystery. The story concludes in an unexpected way, which I thought fit the book well. I didn’t think the author described the setting with enough detail. The author tells you where the characters are but you know very little about what the settings looks like. The author gives a good description of the characters’ personalities but does not describe their appearances enough. However, the descriptions of the characters’ personalities are important to the story and make the book as good as I thought it was. I would say The London Eye Mystery is definitely a page turner and I strongly recommend reading it.
